Vintage 1950s to 1960s Hula Girl Chalkware. This figurine is most likely a car dashboard Hula Girl. There is a spring in her middle which causes her to sway with the movement of the car. There was probably a magnet at the base but that's been lost to time. I had bought it for myself about 20 years ago but the wind coupled with her gyrations kept making my car alarm go off. It does appear to be hand painted. There is a small loss of paint at the base and a small bit on the top of her head. The lai looks to be made out if cotton (I'm not positive) and the flower is cloth but its hard to which kind
