Beautiful silver plated sugar bowl with lid. Manufactured by Wurtemberg Metalware Factory or Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik, a German company that formed in 1880. It is marked on the bottom with "as" for antique silver, a finish that is a darkening of the silver. Also marked "I/O" which means normal thickness of silver deposited onto the base, as well as "M" meaning the base is brass.
This sugar bowl is silver plated with some wear of the silver, but it is still a very pretty piece. In great condition aside from the wearing of the silver. Please see all photos for details as they are part of the description.
