This is Lenard Raymond, we call him Lennie. He’s a rare first-release Coleco Cabbage Patch Kid from 1983, 43 years old! Head Mold #1, KT Factory (known for petite, well-stuffed bodies) Lennie has a light skin tone, blue eyes and light brown hair in the fuzzy haircut! They discontinued fuzzy boys by 1985.
Lennie was stored in his box for decades until he came to be part of my doll collection. He’s been displayed only, never undressed and never played with. He’s in amazing vintage condition, with complete tracksuit outfit and birth certificate.
A few things of note:
- elastic on his sweatpants has crumbled from age. They still stay up thanks to his diaper.
- tabs of his diaper have crumbled with age. I put a little bit of scotch tape so he could keep his original diaper on.
- the birth certificate envelope is in fair condition; the documents inside are excellent.
