Split P™ pickups are equipped with an EQ to extend the range of your bass by appealing to both low and high frequencies: a great way to get a wider, contemporary sound from medium-sized bass with just one pickup in the middle. The double blade design provides a crisp attack and accentuates the cool overtones for a large, soft tone. The blade pole pieces also make the Split P™ highly sensitive to finger and pick attacks. Notes seem to sound longer, especially in the top registers, as the pickup practically "hears" the decaying note except for a whisper.
