This specialized formula of shielding paint was developed in house at Doubleday Guitars to increase the shielding properties over other available paints, but more importantly to be non-ferrous. Ferrous shielding paints are magnetic and can alter the magnetic flux field of your pickups when used in the pickup cavities. Our shielding paint allows the pickups to sound true to their design. This paint is also water based so it can be cleaned up easily with water while wet, and dries waterproof to offer a good moisture sealing protection to the wood. Paint can be thinned with water if it becomes too thick over time. 4 oz container.
