These pegs come in a 4 pack. A single bracket this size can hold 100 pounds when mounted vertical to a stud or 60 pounds when mounted horizontal to a stud. Base plate is 1.25"x2" inch with mounting points on all 4 sides. This allows for being installed vertical for mantels 2.5" inch and thicker or horizontal for shelves 1.75" to 2.5". The rod is made from 3/16" steel and has a 3/4" diameter. The mounting points on the top and bottom have the same spacing as the mounting points on the sides. This rod length is perfect for shelves 7" to 12" deep.
