This marka mohair cardigan sold out immediately after its arrival.
Mohair, a current trend, is the fiber from Angora goats that live in cold climates. Its long fibers, durability, and lustrous appearance give it a high-quality look, and it also boasts excellent insulation. Its unique properties were so prized that there were even countries that tried to monopolize it.
The kid mohair used in this cardigan is the fiber from goats under one year old, making it an extremely rare material with only 1/6th the yield of regular mohair. It's finer and softer than regular mohair, with a cashmere-like feel. However, it's stronger than cashmere, making it suitable for high-end suits.
The silhouette is a relaxed fit, typical of marka's style. The raglan sleeves mean you can wear it comfortably regardless of your shoulder width.
The collar is double-layered, making it thick and preventing it from stretching or becoming misshapen when buttoned. Perhaps due to the strength of the mohair fibers, the cuffs and hem ribbing also feel quite sturdy.
