Mid century Arabia pitcher bull cow

This listing is for an adorable mid century milk jug or water pitcher manufactured by Arabia of Finland. Per information I was able to locate on the web, the cow image by Anja Juurikkala was created specifically for the form designed by Kaj Franck. Love the fruit of this collaboration! The design, in true Scandinavian spirit, is simple, but also thoughtful and approachable. And too cute for words. ☺

The pitcher is in the largest size manufactured in this design. It measures 6 ½” in height. The condition of the piece is fair to good. While it still is in very useable condition, there are some issues I need to mention. There is a strange spider-like crack on the bottom of the body (please refer to the last image). There also are some small chips on the foot of the piece and crazing within the glaze coverage. These issues don’t really detract from the simple beauty and fun design of this piece, but they have been considered in the pricing of it.
