New Martinsville Radiance Cake Plate with Rockwell Peony Silver Overlay 11"
I have for sale a lovely cake plate by New Martinsville/Viking in the Radiance pattern with a Peony Poppy overlay variation by Rockwell. It was made between 1936-1939. It measures 11" across and about 1.5" tall. It weighs 1lb 14oz. It sits on three toes. I found no breaks, cracks, or chips. It glows green under UV. I found exceptionally few scratches, and the ones present are light and I did not find them distracting from the beauty of this plate. The silver overlay shows some tarnish, though I've gotten a lot of it off; it was nearly black when I found this piece!
